We know—health insurance and finances might not seem like exciting topics to most people. But to us, they’re deeply personal.
Brianna Henward grew up in Midcoast Maine with a passion for disability rights. Her sister, Bridgette, was born with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and autism. From a young age, Brianna and her family were fierce advocates for Bridgette, ensuring she had access to the care and services she needed. With only five years between them, the sisters have always shared a close bond.
After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America and later Cornell’s College of Business, Brianna pursued a career in hospitality. She worked as a chef in various cities before deciding to return home to Maine at age 24. The timing was perfect—Bridgette was finishing high school, and the sisters moved in together. Living together gave Bridgette the chance to grow in her independence and gave Brianna the chance to support her in a meaningful way.
Six years later, that household has grown. Brianna is now married to Andrew, and they’re raising their one-year-old son, Leo, alongside Bridgette, who continues to thrive in a supportive, loving environment.
Navigating Bridgette’s Medicare and MaineCare coverage firsthand gave Brianna an intimate understanding of what many of her clients face. She helped her sister enroll in Medicare at 20, choose the right coverage, and continues to manage her plan each year as needs and benefits change. For Brianna, Medicare isn’t just a product—it’s how she cares for her family.
Andrew Henward’s journey is equally rooted in Maine and in resilience. At 18, he found himself with little income, limited financial knowledge, and weighing 450 pounds. But years of training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the Academy in Portland had instilled in him a deep sense of discipline and personal responsibility. He went on to lose nearly 200 pounds, join the military, and completely change the trajectory of his life.
Andrew started in the insurance industry alongside Brianna, focusing on helping seniors and individuals with disabilities navigate Medicare and Medicaid. Over time, he noticed a troubling pattern: too many people were delaying retirement or returning to work because they lacked basic financial planning support. That realization sparked a deeper calling.
Today, Andrew is a licensed, independent financial advisor who specializes in long-term financial planning and coaching. His work focuses on helping clients build strong financial habits, set meaningful goals, and achieve long-term security through personalized investment, retirement, and estate planning strategies.
Together, Brianna and Andrew run Tindon Health & Wealth out of their office in Wells, Maine. They live in nearby North Berwick with Bridgette and their son, Leo. Their work is built on real-life experience, genuine compassion, and a commitment to helping others navigate life’s most important decisions with clarity and confidence.
